The Illegitimate Daughter

Eva, only 10, has known a hard life. Her mother, Mary, had an illicit relationship with the son of a wealthy merchant and found herself pregnant and alone, Eva's father wanting nothing to do with them. Mary married a cruel man, who never let Mary forget that Eva wasn't his daughter.

When Mary and Eva are forced to live on the streets, Eva makes a choice to find her father. But when she does, shocking events unravel that shock Eva, and she realizes too late that her father is a man so cruel, he will stop at nothing to get Eva out of his life for good.
