The Jilted Bride

Ruby hopes to escape her abusive father by moving to Utah to meet the rancher she has been corresponding with. Owen is a widower whose heart is still broken from his wife's death.

While guilty at bringing a new woman into his home, he knows his children need a mother. He makes it clear to Ruby that the children need her, but he will never love her. While Ruby accepts their arrangement, her heart longs for something more, and she realizes too late that she has escaped one bad situation for another.
