Desiree "Desi" Bishop is devastated when she finds evidence of her husband's affair. God knew she didn't get married only to one day have to stand before a judge and file for a divorce. But she wants out, no matter how much her heart says "forgive him". That is easier said than done. She's hurting and she sees God granting a divorce for fornication as the only opt-out clause in her marriage.

Michael Bishop is a repentant man who loves his wife of three years. If only he had paid attention to the red flags God was putting up to keep him from falling into the devil's snares, he wouldn't have fallen. Although God forgives him instantly when he repents, Desi's forgiveness is moving as a snail's pace.

After all the tears are shed and forgiveness received, the couple learns that some marriages are worth keeping.

This book is awesome and very well told

I loved the realistic feeling of the story . Great narrating... I love it !

Forgiving infidelity

This story sounded personal to me. I've been cheated on before and I never once forgave the person who hurt me. Granted, the person never asked for my forgiveness, but still.
From that day on, I decided that no matter how much I love a person, I'll never stay in a relationship where my partner cheated. I won't say that I changed my mind after listening to this story about redemption and forgiveness, but I do have a new perspective to look at.
