The Key

Reese Gilavar, a Seeker with the Michaud Institute, has a new assignment. A supernatural guardian is dead, and the mysterious key once in the guardian's possession needs to be located.

However, there are problems from the beginning Reese must overcome. The identification of the dead guardian is unknown. No one knows what the key really looks like, and the entities the key kept locked away are now free.
