After Jane recovers from her fever at Netherfield Park, Mr. Bingley invites her to join him and his sisters on a trip to the distant Redthorn Manor. Intrigued by the thought of exploring the Gothic hall and the nearby ruins, Lizzie agrees to accompany her. At first the sisters are fascinated by the eerie Manor and its dark past, until the night when Jane disappears. Desperate to find her, fighting against the indifference of the Bingley sisters, Lizzie accepts the help of the one person she cannot stand: Fitzwilliam Darcy.
