Suspend disbelief, and your common sense.

I understand this is supposedly post Apocalypto of some kind but it is one of the worst stories I have read with no stable plot. I hate having a pretty good understanding of how babies are made and how the sex is dictated. It was so many flaws within the scientific part of the story, and character development. They never once looked at all the men that was inhabiting the earth in droves. The story had too many holes, and nothing was tied up at the end of the book.

Amazing writing

A great story with a compelling protagonist. Such amazing writing, really a pleasure to read. Great performance too. Can't wait for more.

slow beginning

...but if you can manage to get past the first 60% of the book, it really kicks up. The last 2.5 hours I listened to all at once, which was extra surprising because the first 4 hours took me like 2 months to get through. Felt a bit like The Handmaid's Tale for a slightly younger audience. Predictable but depth of content shocked me in some areas (rape triggers).

terrific story line

loved the narrative. It kept me on my toes twists and turns. Fell in love with this book can't wait to read the next one.

Awesome story line.

The thought that humans could go extinct is strange until you hear why. And the lengths people would go to in order to repopulate l shows the scary side of some people in the world. While others just want it to stay safe and normal. Interesting read.
