Charming pair

Sweet little fairy tale with an interesting setting and likable characters. Enjoyed time with the characters.

Gave what it advertised.

The story is cute. It is too bad there was no real narrator. It mostly sounded like a person. But confusing without the: “he said / she said.” I would listen to a number of sentences, thinking it was said by one person, and then afterward be told who really said it.
There might’ve been more depth of feeling to the story if a real person had read it out loud. Or just having a paperback version.

If these books have a particular order, it would be nice if that were included with the title. I had read the tea shop one first and did not know it was supposed to come after this book. But it is mostly standalone anyway.

It was a little bit hard to picture the other people and places in the story. But the relationship between the cat and the librarian is cute.

loved the story, full character development, the adventure and exploration of heart and soul between characters, the overcoming of adversity working together with self awareness. the end result being what you hoped for throughout the book. experience, magical, building of friendship to foundation of real love and respect.
