Fantastic tale about grief, change, and magic

This was an incredible journey that was made even better by the fabulous narrator. She used different voices and accents for each character, which made it very clear who was talking. The tale was full of magic and child like wonder, but also touched serious topics like grief for people and places. There were multiple times where I almost cried due to her longing for home and her mother. By the end, she had the realization that the people and places that mean something don’t ever truly leave. Amazingly emotional for a child’s story!
