The Monster Hunter

Stela Funar is a sixteen-year-old girl whose strange aunt and uncle force her to move constantly and without explanation. To make matters worse—all things fantasy is strictly prohibited. But as Stela is whisked back to Romania due to an unfortunate circumstance, she uncovers the true identity of her father and is plunged into the world of the Hunters.

However, Stela's unexpected arrival creates turbulence. As tensions rise between the Hunters—and an evil secret is brought to light—Stela is forced to compete for a crown she was never meant to have and protect her family from the intrigue that poisons their world. But will Stela be able to distinguish who the true monsters are before it's too late?
