In this enchanting Clangers story, read by Oliver Postgate, a mysterious gift from the Iron Chicken leads Tiny and Small on a musical adventure. Inside the iron egg, Tiny discovers a cluster of music notes that play a cheerful tune. Delighted, she begins to create a song of her own — until the hungry Soup Dragon accidentally swallows most of it.

With only two notes left, Small Clanger carefully plants them in the rocky ground, hoping they might grow again. To bring them to life, the pair must ask the Cloud for help — but only polite requests will do. When the rain finally falls, the notes blossom into beautiful Music Trees, their branches hung with fruit-shaped notes that sing in harmony.

Conducting the Music Trees and the Cloud together, Tiny fills the Clangers' planet with a joyful symphony, and the quiet world comes alive with sound once more.
