Great story tired of cliffhangers

Like most of us that grew up with true series like Harry Potter we understand the value of ending a story with a feeling of completion, even if it is a series. This book would’ve been five stars with me if it wasn’t for cliffhanger that make you wait years. Also the trope of the love triangle and one being the mate is getting way over done.

June 2025 - Did a buddy read with a friend and listened to the new Duet Audiobook. They added an addtional POV in The Night Prince and the narrator's voice is fire!! "Hello, little rabbit!"

I’m going for straight vibes on this one and very little notes! I may be entering my wolf era, adding in a Scottish clan vibe, with a lot of secrets, and I pretty much haven’t put it down since I started it.

I usually try to avoid love triangles, but the set up of this story works really well! I loved the golden retriever MMC in The Wolf King, but the dark villain has stolen my heart in The Night Prince!

“I had to play the villain to stop you from playing the hero.”

Lots of twists and turns and secrets unfolding around every corner!

“Darling, people like you and me, we do not let go.” He bumps his forehead against mine, and the wolf blazes in his eyes… “We unleash.”

It ends with some surprising reveals…I’ll be watching for book 3!!

Can these male narrators do all of the books I listen to, please? Goodness gracious. When is Book 3 coming out!!!

Maybe it’s just me, but I am Team Blake. All the Way! I’m going to need her to just trust the snake!

Best shifter series out there

I have literally nothing bad to say about this series. The FMC is strong, relatable, and rarely annoying. She is also flawed enough to be interesting. The two main male characters are *chef’s kiss.* The narrators are perfection. The story is compelling and has so many unexpected twists and turns. I can’t WAIT until the final installment. It gets steamy but nothing gratuitous. The author is a master at creating tension that builds and builds and builds. These books are amazing.
