Overall good

Good informational title on the early church, its influences, and where they pulled their added teachings from.

Reading this was long overdue

Considering when, in the life of the late Metropolitan Kallistos Ware, he wrote this book, it is wonderful. God bless him.

It has helped countless people discover, learn about, and even consider joining the Church.

This was a precursor to his deeper understanding and teachings as time went on. His time with us on earth was a gift.

Good source for Orthodoxy. Very thorough and helpful. Especially on history and what the Orthodox believe.

This is great for both of us christians, inquirers and catachumens.

The narration in the overall text of this book is great, explaining the Orthodox Christian faith, both its practices, beliefs,and history.
