Good start ROTTEN AWFUL ending

I typically love Claire McGowan but her two latest releases are HORRIBLE. The ending of this book felt rushed, confusing, and completely separate from the story. This entire book is a red herring so the ending made no sense and was completely underwhelming. Nothing goes anywhere, the story leads to NOTHING, and the characters are insufferable. I think Ms. McGowan has absolutely lost her ability to write a decent books so farewell to that author, I won’t be duped again.

VERY SLOW MOVING

The introduction promised an interesting murder mystery. Nothing much happened after that. I stopped listening about a third of the way in.
