Sara Ney writes the best banter and her books have the best slow build tension in them! I love the chemistry of her couples. She’s always a win for me.

Wonderfully written with such hilarious and amazing characters! The narrators were phenomenal. They brought so much emotion to every chapter. I loved it!

A great enemies to lovers slow burn romcom

The narrators are SO GOOD! Sara Ney writes characters who are sexy, funny, and complex. I really enjoyed the banter between the couple as they gradually turned into friends and then lovers. 💖

Abrupt ending after unimpressive story

The writing really wants to be funny. It’s like that person who keeps interrupting your stories by making fun of a word or telling a long story related to somethings you just said. This book takes a long time to get somewhere, because of all the unnecessary inner monologue, mostly consisting of bad jokes and adjacent stories. Then it just ends, unexpectedly. Everything noteworthy in this book could be told in under 30 minutes, keeping in mind that there is no clear resolution to the main characters’ story and a cliffhanger for secondary characters is introduced at the end.
