The Prince and the Pauper

Two boys, one destiny, and a switch that changed everything.

This story is set in the 16th century, during the reign of King Henry VIII of England. Two boys that look identical switch places for a brief period of time. One is Tom Canty, who lives with his abusive, alcoholic father in poverty on the streets of London. The other is young prince Edward Tudor, who is next in line to the English throne.

What they don’t know is that their decision to swap clothes “temporarily" will lead to a series of chaotic adventures and heart-stopping challenges as they navigate life in each other's worlds.

The narrator’s cadence is monotonous. No storytelling or performance, just reading of lines in same tonal pattern over and over again. Least favorite thus far, unfortunately.
