My Journey of Faith

My son, Brian, during his college years was a tour guide in Charleston, SC. I loved hopping on the horse-drawn carriage tours, taking a ride down the cobblestone streets going back into the past. Take a journey with me as I share stories of faith, hope and love along with grief, disappointments, and despair.

For 8 months I couldn’t speak about our family tragedy. The unbearable pain and sleepless nights caused me to cry out to God and take radical actions to prevent this horror from happening to others and to carry the torch for felony DUI reform.

My purpose in life is to become a better me, the Radical New Me. I want to help someone else with what I’ve been through myself. On my journey of faith, my life has been an emotional rollercoaster ride as I trusted God to navigate the storms.

I never dreamed my husband would hear the dreaded word “cancer” and experience a miraculous healing nor that I would have a son in prison for a tragic felony DUI accident that changed our lives forever.
