it was just okay.

I struggled to finish the books. The story line became so predictable. The constant retelling of the items/person value/strength became aggrevating.
I would have been more disappointed if I had used a credit for the series.

Shitty people, frustrating world

The books are not bad but all the main characters are shitty selfish scared people that can't dodge. Also, if this world was a game people could play no one would. Who would want to escape into a world like ours but more frustrating?

Good and dumb

This story is soo disappointing for so many reasons. The protagonist is really really dumb and super righteous for no reason. The guilt this guy feels about every little thing is just misplaced and annoying as all hell. Plus his trusting of people who have already screwed him over is ridiculous. Not a fan.

It was ok, not worth one credit.

The first six books were stuffed with filler. Every time the hero did something we were taken through stats, every single time. Felt like a book written for teens, with dirty words thrown in. Not worth a credit per book after the first six books. Sum it up in one word? Disappointing.
