Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the #1 New York Times bestselling Spiderwick Chronicles and get ready for the series soon to be streaming on Roku with this second installment in the adventures of the Grace children featuring an all-new look.

Thanks to the mysterious field guide left behind by their long-lost great-great-uncle, Arthur Spiderwick, life for the Grace kids—Jared, Simon, and Mallory—is beyond weird. When Simon goes missing, Jared is convinced creatures from the faerie world have something to do with it. Mallory is not convinced. That is, until she and Jared contend with a band of menacing, marauding goblins. Simon is clearly in danger, and it’s up to Mallory and Simon to save him before it’s too late.

Good follow up book. Far too short though. These almost feel like just a few chapters extracted from the same book. Hamill's voices for the kids are a bit annoying but I'm really enjoying his voices for the fairies.

It all was amazing, it’s the best, and it reminded me of one of my favorite books and shows.

The GOAT ed book

I felt nostalgic but I can't find my books... so when I went on audible I saw that Mark Hamill, "The Mark Hamill" , narrates it!

Mark Hamill!

I remember these books so fondly from my youth. Revisiting them, they're a lot shorter than I remember. And as an adult, many of the things that I never questioned as a kid now stand out like a sore thumb to me. I'd say it's still a fine read for the younger audience, but I know books that work well for a wider range are possible.

Mark Hamil has an amazing range.
