The Skeleton in the Closet

Ever since the death of his father, poor Fellworth Dolphin has slaved away as a waiter to support his miserly, cold-hearted mother. Delightful Story

I have listened to this audiobook at least 20 times and it never gets old. It's definitely charming, albeit a bit old fashioned, and the characters feel like old friends.

Mystery, romance, and the English country side,

the perfect combination for a delightful listen. The characters are perfectly captured by the narrator.

Short and sweet

I took a chance on this one. It was just the thing in these days of hurricanes and Covid and the election. There is nothing like cozy mystery escapism!

Very enjoyable romance/mystery

I enjoyed the performance and found that it brought the characters to life to an outstanding degree. The writing was superb and various characters were described in sometimes amusing but not tedious detail. My husband and I listened to the book together and it reminded us a bit of our own romance!. All of that plus an interesting storyline.

Quite a ‘Cozy” mystery

This I a cute story with a little mystery and some romance too. The emotions assigned to the characters are real enough to take these characters seriously. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a “light” read.
