I was trying to do perfectly normal, post-break-up healing activities. Like, use a crystal I bought on the internet. One that promised to turn someone into a slug.

After a small snafu—aka a ceremonial ritual using the crystal, candles, a chant, and pictures of my ex—my ex... transformed into a snail. Which is basically like a slug with a shell. Afterwards, I realized I probably needed to fix what I did, so that I don’t end up in jail.

That’s how I end up on a road trip. Then a plane trip. Then another road trip. All with a group of sexy men trying to help me convert a rare blue-crystal shelled snail back into a kind of douchey man.

And how I realize sometimes getting over someone means falling in love with someone else. Or four someone else’s. Same thing.
