A pleasant surprise

This is not my normal genre, but I'm invested. It ended up going places I never dreamed of. Not a bit like I thought. I actually liked this book better than book one. The twist and turns kept me riveted. I didn't want to pause the audiobook. I cannot wait to see what comes next!!

Lesley Isles is an excellent narrator. She has quite the cast to voice. I'm impressed. She brings the story to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. Perfection.
