This series has not disappointed yet!! The continued saga is masterfully delivered keeping the characters alive.

The series is continues with suspense, intrigue, and all within history.

There isn't anything to dislike.. Vivian Stuart's writing is very good.
Audible has described many historical novels in the summaries as "if you like Hilary Mantel you will like this.... and never have I found it true. Vivian Stuart is first that I would say is similar to Hilary Mantel. Some of the wording is even the same. Of course, again, Simon Slater gave a magnificent performance. The variety of accents, genders, ages, seems extremely difficult to do. He is a master.
