Hardy’s historical novel

Loved it even though Anne ended up with the wrong suitor but ….it’s Hardy. Beautiful writing. Great narrator.

Not as good of a plot twist as other Hardy novels

The ending was predictable. An enjoyable story but I felt it drug on a few times.
