Compelling, detailed and balanced story of a birth of a nation

The narration was excellent, and the book itself an incredible feat. It depicts the harrowing events preceding Bangladesh's birth while maintaining hope, and makes for a story that is listenable rather than simply traumatising.

It is also a great insight into American foreign policy.
