Our heroes are spread far and wide across Northost. Aspen, Sycamore, and Maple, finally having reached the Visandi, begin to unravel the mystery of the Celestial Sequence. Damon, Johana, Kiana and their company continue the trek northward in the hopes of finding Gwenevere. Covlan remains in the Grey Ghost's power, watching with dread as his nefarious plot unfolds.

With the four Tormentors united, access to the heavens can be granted, along with world-changingly important information about the origins of The Chill, the truth about the Celestial Guardians, and the Grey Ghost's odious purposes.
