Forensic investigator Reilly Steel is back in Florida, hoping that a relaxing stay at the home of her old FBI mentor, Daniel Forrest, will help her.

But Reilly soon finds herself drawn into a local investigation, a gruesome murder where the body of a woman has literally been torn in two. And when another disturbing killing occurs, Reilly can't help but feel that she has come across something like this before. But where?

Good story, but some unbelievable character turns

I liked the story and the ending was macabre and funny. Performance was just average. a couple of plot twists were hard to believe.

The watched

The story was ok. I felt as tho someone was just reading from the book. Voice never changed from character to character. Just a little disappointed in the story it certainly did not match the reviews. I will watch for this narrator so I don't listen to that book. I still don't get when they have a person to narrate that they don't listen to how their story sounds. I like someone that gets you so involved it's hard to turn it off.
