One great series in a single offering!

Daxas has established his dungeon in the Proving Grounds and incorporated two more into his sphere of influence. But his expansion and rule-breaking doesn't end there.

His successes have been impressive, but thus far, he has been competing against the other minnows in the Proving Grounds. Other, grander forces, have taken notice and the interfering Divine Lords continue in their campaign to see Daxas destroyed.

Daxas will have to think bigger, fighter harder, and cheat in ever more inventive ways if he and his growing pool of desirable disciples are to emerge victorious.

I had a Dungeon Core itch, and this fit the bill perfectly. I love stories where the main character might be inconvinenced, and though they might complain about it a tad, they look for ways to game the system they find themselves in. Literally.

This was a great listen, and both the voice actors did a great job.

Please note, sex scenes abound, so if you are not looking for those, stay away. I felt that each one was unique (a must in this kind of story), ensuring that the reader was not bogged down in repetitive items. Look forward to the next series by this author!

What a ride.

It is a good build of characters and the story gets more interesting per chapter and book

overall I actually had a great time. I was a little worried here and there. And I actually thought Daxis was gonna get another female dungeon into his harem. And that his connection to Jessamen would make her a Werewolf or something herself. But overall it was a great story.

And one of the things that really got to me, in a good way, was how several characters in this line of storytelling. Always find the wiggle room at just the right time. But I gotta say Daxis took the cake when it came to turning Cheating/Bending the Rules aka Exploiting the Holes in the Rules to his advantage.

And while I don't think other stories are going to be exactly like this. I would like to see more protagonist characters in other stories by other writers figure out things like this. Not the crap on it or anything but one of them, Caretakers Collection had me Reeling in Anger because of the silly thing about the Fairy familiar to the MC wanting to match him in height. But they Literally had a wish for something like a magic card (because they use the card based system) to make him able to grow and shrink at will. Including so that he could screw the brains out of a sidepiece he met that was a literal giantess.

Now all I'll probably be doing is comparing this story to that because there was an Obvious loophole No One thought to exploit there. But again I'm forced to digrese because “plot has gotta plot”. Just palming my face going; “Why couldn't (insert name) be more like Daxis?” Like a toxic parent comparing their children to one another to get them to compete for their love 🤦🏾‍♂️😅🤣😭🤣🤣.

A few things stood out to me that were annoying. But overall plot has got a plot. So I can't hate on that.

Johnathan waters did an incredible job portraying daxus and all the other male characters with many different voices. The story line was really nice and paced well. This is the first time I’ve read a lot harem rpg book from the perspective of the dungeon and I see it as a welcome change. He(daxus) faced many different challenges thought the books that kept me engaged. The sec scenes were nice too. I wish the female voice out a bit more expression into the voices as it felt like she was just reading from a page and not actually acting out the scenes

The great story and many voices
