Authors Jonas Saul (Sarah Roberts Series) and Rania Stone (The Truth Is a Lie) team up to write the dark thriller There Will Be Blood.

The mafia never forgets an enemy, and Darwin Kostas can’t allow them to remember.
Ten years hiding off the grid in Europe. Ten years of staying invisible. Then someone leaks his identity along with the names and addresses of every ex-spy, ex-mercenary, and black ops soldier who ever crossed the wrong people.

Now Darwin is racing to Rhodes, Greece, where a woman has vanished from her hotel, and bodies are already turning up. At his side is Faye—sharp, unpredictable, and dangerous in ways Darwin doesn't fully understand.
The leak is here. So are the people who want them both dead.
With a team of highly trained mercenaries, they work against the clock—and everyone else—to bury the information before it buries them.

In a place this beautiful, blood will be spilled. One thing is for sure— with that many trained killers in one hotel, There Will Be Blood—and a lot of it.

This was a good story that I enjoyed. The characters were a little sophomoric at times but I could still relate and see their point of view. The AI voice was new for me. I enjoyed the male voice. It had good tone resonance and sounded like a real person. However the character pronounced his name one way while the AI pronounced the name differently when referring back to him. A few other words were also mispronounced or just said weirdly and not because of an accent. I will be interested to see how they improve going forward. I would definitely listen to another one.
