One of the best I’ve read

I love British crime procedural stories. I loved this team; realistic, humorous, and heart wrenching.

Excellent detective work

Detective Inspector Sheridan Holler leads a group of detectives along with her partner, Detective Sergeant Anna Markinson, to solve a multiple murder. Lots of twists and turns and (without a spoiler) I was sad about the ending.
Love the British terminology. Keeps me on my toes as I listen.

Great story with lots of twists and turns. I love how everything always is so wrapped up but still intriguing enough to keep us interested in the next in series!

This story was somewhat predictable but had enough twists to keep you guessing and interested.

Enjoyed listening. Can’t wait for the next one in March!

I don’t think this series is for me. Although I read a lot of procedurals and find the cases solved here interesting, the pace is very slow and it lacks an engaging investigative thread. The focus is more on the characters and their personal stories rather than the cases. I prefer my procedurals to be more thrilling than this.

Pro cat mystey

When cat characters were introduced I was waiting for them to be eviscerated at some point in the story. But they were not only allowed to live but to thrive. This wasn’t the most suspenseful story but the characters were likable and that is a lot in my book.
