I Usually Love This Author’s Novels,

But it hard for me to enjoy it book when I dislike the main character for ninety-five percent of it.
As usual however, the characters were well drawn, the story flowed, and though it went from one time period to another, it was easy to follow.
I look forward to reading another Amanda Prouse novel.

Challenging read

I struggled to enjoy this book because I have so much judgement towards the MC. It was hard for me to not feel anger towards her. The author is wonderful. The story is honest and thoughtful. The character’s relationships are realistic and challenging.

I feel like it was the truth. I have always wanted children. But I know not everyone does or should. And that ok ❤️

Read it you’ll be glad you did, an excellent story, exploring various perspectives and values on motherhood and career paths . An exploration into finding your own voice and being the author of your own life and having the power to change your mind.
