Nothing is impossible with God

This is one of my favorite historical fiction series. Gabrielle Meyers has come up with an enjoyable type of split time story. I am learning a lot of history as Meyers researches the history of the times her characters live in.

Fabulous!

Wasn't a big fan of the male narrator, but in the end I loved this book!

Beautiful story

Gabrielle doesn’t disappoint! Time travels, this one had a few more major characters than the others and at first had to get my bearings on who was who, but it was a wonderful story nonetheless. Always nice treat when we get backstory on who’s related to who from the other stories.

Charles Hollingsworth’s a time crosser nearing his 25 birthday when he’ll be forced to choose whether to live in 1883 or 1563. In 1883, determined to make his failing family farm a success, he accepts an invitation from his time crossing best friend Drew, who shares his paths, to pose as the Earl of Norfolk & impress Drew’s mother’s friends. Wow! This story is full of twists & turns! I absolutely enjoyed both time periods. Evelyn’s secret past & her charity work, Cecily’s love of insects, Thomas’ plight, & Drew’s desire to be a doctor endeared me to these characters. I loved both romances & the difficult choices each couple has to make. There’s so much angst & I was hoping they’d all find happily ever after. I loved the inspiring faith thread & the theme of having faith even when dreams are shattered. The history, beautiful writing, & intrigue completely pulled me. Be sure to read the author’s note at the end which reveals even more fascinating historical details. Can’t wait for book 7!

I listened to the audiobook version & absolutely loved the narrators! The dual narration is done so well. Each narrator did a fantastic job bring a variety of characters to life. It made the story even more enjoyable.

Highly recommend!

I enjoyed this book and the many others in the series. I hope she continues to write more.
