This was a fantastic audiobook. The twist I never seen coming. The Author did a great job writing the storyline and keeping you from figuring out the twist. I love books that I don't see it coming. The narrator also did a great job at reading the story or performing the story. she also had a pleasant voice and it helps a lot when listening to audiobooks.

Exciting, suspenseful, and secrets galore!
This is a wild and dark psychological thriller that makes you question what is real.

The story follows Emma and her struggles to hold on to reality. Is it mental health issues, or more? There’s stress and tension trying to figure things out.
This story is very intense and I didn’t want to stop reading! This author has an excellent way of telling a story.

I listened to the audio version and it is an engaging listen!! It’s fast paced from beginning to end!

More YA, less Freida McFadden

⭐️⭐️ (2 stars)
I picked up Through Her Eyes by J.D. Setzer because it was recommended for fans of Freida McFadden—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to that comparison for me.
While the story is told from a teenager’s point of view, the writing itself felt very juvenile at times, almost as if it were written by a teenager. I even found myself looking up the author to see if that was the case—but it was not.
The premise had potential, but the execution of the story… not so much. As an adult reader, I was hoping for more suspense, tension, and twists, but the action and thrill just weren’t there. It reads much more like a young adult novel, which isn’t a bad thing. However, it’s definitely misleading to market it to fans of Freida McFadden, whose books are much darker and more intense.
Overall, I gave this one 2 stars. I think it would appeal to a younger audience.
