Torment

Small town reporter Mia Durante finds herself having brunch with the President of the United States on the day civilization comes to an end.

Haunting and Thrilling

I was not expecting this. I've read...I dunno... six other Robinson's in the Infinite Timeline and I recall these "people" from The Order but... this was absolutely haunting. I devoured this book. Fantastic and as usual a knockout performance from our man, RC. Absolutely phenomenal - but do not listen to at night.

Not your typical apocalyptic movie

While RC Bray is absolutely fantastic as the narrator, as always, this book left me feeling, well, tormented. If you are big on happy endings then this one is DEFINITELY not for you. Starts dark, and keeps getting darker. Until finally you are left saying to yourself.... this can't be the end right? I'm sure some people will like this book but it is definitely a little too hopeless for me

Not for me

I have enjoyed several of the books in this series but this one just doesn’t do it for me. Not as well written and honestly the religious aspects of the story wasn’t expected after reading about gods, aliens, genetic modification, living in a virtual matrix, spaceships and AI.
It brought up my anxiety and religious trauma. Which probably isn’t a problem for most of you. I hope you enjoy it more than I did. I hope the next one is better and moves away from this direction of theology and philosophy.
Keep writing Jeremy. My favorite so far is Mind Bullet.

Incredible!

I originally thought about giving it less stars because of the ending (no spoilers!), but after like two seconds of thought I concluded that this is one of the best books I have ever listened to/read. I have nothing bad or even slightly negative to say about it. Pretty much everything about it is a 10/10 for me. If you’re looking for something to keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time, this is it.

Stressful, but worth the ride.

Good story and worth the time. I understand some of the complaints, but people are being to harsh. This is a dark twisted ride. Good take on the Zombie genre.
Writer was not kind to the main character, but hey we all deal with our pain in our own ways. He decided to torture this poor women.
