Dual Narration. Enjoyed more than I thought I would

Knowing that this was a book about a sex club, I went into it thinking it was going to be a story without any depth at all. I was wrong. The scenes were very hot. But I loved the writing of the story overall. Not just the spicy scenes. I liked how it talked about faith and different perspectives in life.

The only flaw was not making this DUET narration. I think that’s the biggest mistake romance authors make when deciding how they want narration to be done with audio books. They have the choice of a single narrator who reads the entire thing. DUAL narration where there is a man and a woman.Both read every character in their chapters. Meaning they voice both the male and female. And then there is the absolute best narration…DUET. This is where the female narrator reads ALL female parts only. And the male reads ALL male parts only. It feels more immersive when it’s duet. It’s by far more sexy to listen to spicy parts. I know it’s more expensive for the authors to choose this option. But it’s worth it to choose DUET. My friends and I listen 90% duet style audio books. Passing up dual (even if it’s a book we’ve all been waiting for) until we’ve run out of duet books to listen to. This happened to be one of those books I finally gave in to. I’m glad I did. The narrators were great. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the man’s “woman” voice or the woman’s “man” voice. I give this audio 4 stars for that reason alone. But 5 stars had it been Duet

Unbelievably hot!

This is the first book I’ve listened to by this author. I didn’t know what to expect. The 🌶️ needs to be a ghost pepper hot! Original storyline and different enough from typical Sex club storylines. The narrators were both fantastic, you really believed them as these characters. Anything with those accents and it would be amazing. I understand the Catholic guilt theme but some may view it harsher than it is.

I wish there was a place like this

This is so sexy and yet so wholesome at the same time. I grew up in a very religious and conservative household and the feelings Belle battles with are so true. The sex scenes are so good and the detail makes everything come alive!

Absolutely amazing!

Loved the performance but the story was the true star. Race was everything we are looking for !!! Will be coming back to this story again

Great book to read rolled up in a blanket on a rainy day

Young woman coming of age story with older man as the ‘teacher’ in the setting of a sex club. A familiar trope. Age-gap story well done well, in my opinion. I appreciated the well-written content of this book. The story was very unusual for me, but at no point was I bored or offended by the nature of the story itself. Interestingly, the story had politics, religion, sex, patriarchy, feminism, and humor. I liked it all. The narrators were excellent.
