Boston Bolts Hockey, Book 3

I've never been a good bet.

I wear my emotions on my tattoo-covered sleeve, I say all the wrong things, and I revel in pissing off a certain redhead far more than I should. In other words, I'm the last person the court would choose to parent any child, let alone three of them.

Yet being their father is all I want.

So when the woman I love to hate offers to help make all my dreams come true, I jump at the chance. Marrying Ava is a convenient solution: she's my kids' favorite person and the court will absolutely approve of the woman who runs the biggest charity in Boston.

But there is nothing convenient about the way I feel when she fights with me, or when we kiss. And I'm not sure which I enjoy more.

This marriage may have a time limit but I'm beginning to think I'd like to keep my wife. She'll probably fight me on it, but as they say, all's fair in love and war.

This is one of my favorite books in the series. I'm a sucker for a Brody single dad; I love every moment, and the narration is worth the credit!

The story, the narrators- I loved everything about this book! It was my first in the series and I am hooked!!

Loved this story

Loved this story. It’s duet narration, so I totally loved that. The male narrator is my favorite male narrator and I absolutely love the female narrators voice.

As for the story. Also a big fan of the story, the characters. I’ve been loving all the Brittanee Nicole stories.

Fantastic story

My first story by author Brittanee Nicole and I loved it so much. Connor Crais and Angelina Rocca were amazing bringing Tyler and Ava’s story to life along with their adorable kids. This was an emotional story about love, grief, adoption and found family and friends that will give you all the feels.

Narration was perfect buuuuttttt…..

Performance was top notch. Duet style with two of my favorite narrators?? Yes, please!!

Overall, the story was entertaining. I enjoy a little hate to love where there’s clearly unrequited pining on both sides the whole time. However, I found the characters a bit inconsistent through their relationship development. The back and forth between being strong and then insecure within the same scene left me a bit frustrated at times. Just pick a lane! Plenty of reasons for each one to be both but I wish there would have been more follow through on one feeling at a time.
