Whatever is a compilation of Michele Battle-Fisher's series of free-verse audiobooks, Then and Whatever and Borrowed Words and Fake Thoughts. Michele Battle-Fisher's debut volume of poetry, Then and Whatever, invites listeners to throw away conceptions you may have of simple, complex human relationships.

With the author's wry and unflinching approach to untangling human complexities, the poems set up a nonlinear journey through immaturity, regret, self-discovery, passion, and most importantly - love. She brings a unique lens when writing about how dynamically human we all are.

This volume is experimental with two distinct parts: first, "borrowed poetry" of her first volume of poetry, Then and Whatever; second, quintessential free bits of verse.
