Wonderful text, horrible pronunciation

This is a great book for those getting interested in chakras. It makes sense - not too heavy on the esoteric side. It is annoying how frequently the reader mispronounces the sanskrit (even some of the English!) words. I would have liked the author to read it. Still well worth it!

Amazing Overview

If you have always wanted to understand the chakra system, but only got vague answers from yoga teachers or other energy programs, this is the book for you.

Anodea explains each chakra, and how they work together better than any other spiritual author I have read. I felt more in tune with understanding this energetic system after listening than I did after most energy healing programs I have taken.

ONE ISSUE: The physical book includes multiple resources for yoga poses/meditation/exercises after each chapter/chakra. The audio program made no mention of this- I only discovered it when flipping through the book in a bookstore. This is the only reason I rated the book less than 5*

The quality of the audio content is amazing- there is just so much more to this book than you get in the audio program. Consider buying the physical book as a supplemental resource while listening- it will make a big difference.

Excellent explinations, great readers voice. I highly reccommend this book for anyone interrested in Chakra work. Great firt book and a good extention for those who know some aready.
