When Darkness Falls is about the world finally destroying each other's resources until electricity is the only thing left. The world was sent back to the pioneer days except for three countries—Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

The United States has less than three years to find another source. They ask Mexico and Canada to help. They refuse. They already have their people trapped in an isolated area. They must keep the electricity and take people to their countries. There is just no room.

The United States is furious. They are going to attack both the other countries to take theirs. How will they do this—or better question, can they?
