What is it like to die? A mass of the majority of near-death experiences (NDEs) testified to publicly over the past four decades have been portrayed as pleasurable, even magnificent. Almost overlooked in the elation about them has been the sobering reality that not all NDEs are so encouraging. In reality…well…some are extremely disconcerting.

In this anthology, the author delves into 24 chapters of NDEs. After having a few near-death experiences herself, Eve wanted to hear from others. What was it like for them? Did they see the gates of heaven? Did they float above their body and watch as emergency services desperately tried to revive them? Or was it just blackness? Empty…dark…nothing.
