Great book, loved every minute of it. Great storyline and amazing narrating. Excellent book overall and definitely recommend this book.

Cozy Romance with Unexpected Depth

really enjoyed this story. While it’s advertised as a cozy romance—and it absolutely delivers on that—it’s also so much more. There’s real emotional weight here that pulls you in and makes you feel fully immersed alongside the characters.

The relationship between Jason and Bethany develops naturally, unfolding at a comfortable, believable pace that feels true to life. Add in a subtle touch of mystery and characters who feel genuinely human, and you have a story that’s both comforting and quietly compelling.

If you’re in the mood for a cozy romance with heart, depth, and just a hint of intrigue, this one is well worth a listen.

Secret Love

This is a sweet clean romance. Bethany finding letters from her late grandmother about a man named Thomas that she has never heard of. After researching she finds the grandson, Jason and together they dig into their grandparents secret about their love while finding themselves falling for each other.

A sweet & relaxing romance

I liked the idea of discovering old love letters & slowly putting the story together. It kept me interested without needing a lot of drama. It’s more of a quiet & emotional story. Kat Dawson’s narration fits the tone well & keeps the story flowing.

This delicate and sensible story illustrates with words and scenery the feelings and actions of two people sharing a shunned love in 1950's Americana, as discovered through the personal items they've left behind after their modern-day passing. A bit of detective work, and a bit of speculation guide the descendants of the deceased to catalog and retrace the events described in letters and journals in order to understand the bond these two souls shared. Listeners are treated to exceptional narration by Kat Dawson, providing instantly familiar and authentic voices for the characters.
