Wishful Series Box sets Volume 3 Books 7-9

I finished both Volume 2 and 3 in a week. Thats 6 Wishful books. I was able to get this current box sets with the audible discount special. I already reviewed Volume 2 book 4-6. Books 7-9 were a 10 hrs of listening so yes they were on the shorter side.

Book 7- Focused on Tara Honeycutt a young woman who is guardian to her younger brother and sister, she works as a Barista In a coffee shop as well as an artisan selling her handmade jewelry at the pharmacy artisan market. She attracts the interest of recently returned home Grad school studen Ja e Applewhite, whose family own a tree farm. The setting is Christmas so Jace welcomes her to celebrate Christmas with his family and help her gives a special Christmas to her siblings. Jace also helps Tara reconnect with her passion of dance, that she gave up as she took care of her siblings full time. This a short holiday story however I wanted more . Fortunately in Book 9 they briefly were in the story as the Mary Alice and Chad visited the family tree farm for Christmas. a year later. It was stated Tara andJace were indeed a couple and Tara and her siblings now celebrated Christmas again with his family and helped on the farm during the season.

Book 8- Focused on Mayor Sandra Crawford and her university friend Gerald ( Trey) Peyton III. Sandra was in a married at the time to her HS boyfriend. So romantic feelings from both Trey and Sandra weren't acted on. Sandra was also pregnant at the time with her husband's child. They parted ways 30 years later Sandra and Trey re connect in Wishful both long divorced from first marriages and with adult children. Its may their time to explore there past feelings and see is present day middle aged selves can discover love again.. This is set in November preparing for the long awaited wedding of Sandra's son Cam Crawford to Nora Burke, the first Wishful couple in Book 1. There was so much going on in this book for both couples it felt rushed IMO and I thought Cam and Nora wedding could be better as a novella allowing the sole focus on Sandra and Trey. There was so much to tell and really focus on them

Book 9- Another romance blooms during the Christmas season. Mary Alice Reed is on respite from love a broken relationship of 2 years where the guy marries his best friend 6 weeks after the break up. That story of Judd Hamilton and Autumn Buchanan is book 1 of the Heroes of Wishful Series a Suspense romance. After a few months Mary Alice is single and learning to cope with what happened, she meets ER Dr Chad Phillips a new resident of Wishful from Atlanta. This is there story setting is Christmas however the Epilogue is 6 months later in June, they are together and Chad has a surprise for Mary Alice.
