A great read to deepen understanding of Yemaya

The rituals and heritage are easily laid out for understanding & knowledge. I loved the cultural knowledge & everything seems easy enough to put into practice.

Book was very thorough and Informative. Easy to follow and easy to understand as well

HORRIBLE NARRATION

I’m not sure if this is AI or an actual narrator but the mispronunciation of all the names is distracting if not confusing. I’m sure the written text is best but the narration is absolutely bad.

Terrible pronunciation.

The overall story was good. There were some issues that I saw with the way that the PATAKIS were represented as only positive leaving out parts of the story, but I understand this was for brevity. The story for me was about a four but the readers pronunciation was so terrible. I think it brought it down to a 2 1/2. Definitely should make sure that readers are at least familiar with the concepts before reading a book or at least with the culture and language.
