Good Story

This is a good apocalypse series. The ending has me wanting the next book to find out what happens. The storyline keeps you wanting and rooting for the family to make it.

AI

I was enjoying the book but AI does not have the same effect on telling the story like a proper narrator. I stopped half way through book 1 because of the narrating.

Zombies

I liked the book, loved all the survival scenarios of the family. I just didn’t like how it ended I needed more info , like the family had made it to the north or a settlement to finally be safe it just ended with our an ending but all and all it was a good book

Storyline

It’s OK story. It does keep you entertained. Like most zombie books. I wish the author can stop putting some type of military dictator at the very start of the zombie apocalypse. Such as how the Coast Guard immediately takes over an island and the Commander is a sadistic dictator along with sadistic soldiers. That’s not how the United States military should be expressed. They should be a symbol of protecting their country and citizens. Not immediately force husbands to give up their wives and other luxuries. I can understand later on into the apocalypse but not at the beginning.
