The unnamed narrator (enforcer, hitman) has been tasked with training up one of the bosses' nephews and this is their first job – to silence the Family bookkeeper who has been talking to the wrong people. But things don't go as expected.

Sure.

The first story is rubbish, the others are great. Quite a mixed, unexpected collection. Narrators are great.

Drones on and on

The narration is s l o w and monotonous. The stories are convoluted instead of mysterious. I have enjoyed other work by some of the authors, but not this.
