Steve Hoffenberg is an already known mentor of Jeffrey’s and the creator of the biggest financial ponzi scheme before the Bernie Madoff scam involving his company, Towers Financial. Hoffenberg went to jail for his crimes, but says Jeffrey was very much a part of orchestrating illegal insurance bond schemes and stock manipulation. Vicky asks Jeffrey about these schemes, but he flatly denies everything, even though court papers show he was involved.
