    Tonight, The Light Gate welcomes Stephen Bassett, pioneering and influential UFO researcher and disclosure advocate, and one of the hardest working ufologists. He has so much important and information to share about the every-changing disclosure movement and what he calls "the truth embargo."|

    Stephen has spoken to audiences in 20 countries about the political implications of UAP/ET phenomena and Disclosure - the formal confirmation by heads of state of an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race. He is co-founder of the Hollywood Disclosure Alliance and executive director of Paradigm Research Group, a 501c3 non-profit providing education, consulting, analysis and political activism for a post-Disclosure world.

    His advocacy work has been well covered by national and international media including CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, Washington Post and New York Times. Bassett has appeared in many documentary films and his lectures and interviews are well represented on YouTube. In 2013 PRG organized and conducted a "Citizen Hearing on Disclosure" at the National Press Club in Washington.

    In November of 2014 PRG launched a two-year political initiative out of Washington, DC that injected the ET issue into the 2016 presidential campaign.

    In December 2023, Steve Co-Founded The Hollywood Disclosure Alliance in Los Angeles, a new, media-centric organization aiming to align those working within the UAP/ET research arena with writers/directors/producers working across every facet of the global entertainment industry. PRG recently launched an activist project - Shift Storm - seeking UAP hearings as soon as possible before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

    Tonight the Light Gate is delighted to welcome the amazing Stephen Simon. Stephen Simon produced such acclaimed projects as the Academy-Award winning, What Dreams May Come (starring Robin Williams and Cuba Gooding Jr.) Somewhere in Time (Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour,) and All The Right Moves (Tom Cruise.)

    Stephen was also co-executive producer on fan favorites Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, and Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey (Keanu Reeves); produced She’s Out of Control (Tony Danza), executive produced Body of Evidence (Madonna), produced the first original film to premiere on the Internet (Quantum Project) in 2001, starring John Cleese and Stephen Dorff, was an executive producer on Linda McCartney for CBS Television, and was nominated for an Emmy Award as one of the executive producers of Homeless to Harvard for Lifetime Television. Stephen was also the head of production of the film companies owned by legendary Hollywood producers Ray Stark (Funny Girl, The Goodbye Girl, The Way We Were) and Dino De Laurentiis (Serpico, La Strada, 3 Days of The Condor). As an executive, Stephen supervised the production of films such as Smokey and The Bandit and The Electric Horseman. Stephen also directed and produced both Indigo and the film version of Conversations with God. In 2004, Stephen co-founded The Spiritual Cinema Circle, a monthly DVD distribution service that became an international success for 16 years.

    Stephen’s first book, The Force is With You, was published by Hampton Roads in 2002, his second book, Bringing Back The Old Hollywood, was published in 2011, and he co-wrote What Dreams Have Come, Loving Through the Veil, published in 2020. Stephen was born into a successful Hollywood family. His father, S. Sylvan Simon, was a producer/director who made films with stars such as Abbott and Costello, Lana Turner, and Red Skelton; and worked as both a producer and an executive at Columbia Pictures under the legendary Harry Cohn, producing films such as Born Yesterday, the 1950 film that garnered a Best Actress Oscar for star Judy Holliday.

    When Sylvan Simon died in 1951, Frank Sinatra became Stephen’s “godfather” and Stephen’s mother Harriet married Armand Deutsch, a film producer at MGM who produced films with stars such as Robert Taylor, James Stewart, and Grace Kelly. Armand Deutsch adopted Stephen, changing Stephen’s last name to Deutsch. In 1996, Stephen legally changed his name back to Simon. Stephen earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from UCLA in 1971 and a Law Degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1974. After being admitted to the California Bar in 1974, he practiced law briefly before entering the film industry in 1976.

    Tonight, The Light Gate welcomes back author, researcher and experiencer Kathleen Marden to the show! Kathleen is one of the best in the field. She is so amazing! So many experiences, so much information, such a delightful person.

    Kathleen Marden’s insatiable interest in UFOs and ET contact began in 1961, when her aunt and uncle Betty and Barney Hill had a close encounter and UFO abduction in New Hampshire’s White Mountains. As a family member, Kathleen gained firsthand knowledge of Betty’s and Barney’s UFO encounter on the day they arrived home and two days later she, her parents, and siblings visited the Hill’s home. She has devoted years to painstaking investigation of the Hills' anomalous events and archival research on their UFO abduction case. As the trustee of Betty’s estate, she selected files from Betty’s personal archival collection for a permanent collection at the Milne Special Collections Library, UNH Library, University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH.

    You will find her case study of the evidence in her book with Stanton Friedman, “Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience” (Updated in 2021).

    Since 1991 she has volunteered for the Mutual UFO Network in various positions such as Director of Field Investigator Training and Founder/Director of MUFON's Experiencer Resource Team. Over a ten-year period, Kathleen expanded her ERT team from three members to forty-five trained, seasoned specialists and attracted PhD and MD psychological and research consultants. Additionally, she sat on the Edgar Mitchell Free Advisory Board. In this period, she worked on three studies on nearly 5,000 experiencers (Marden-Stoner, Edgar Mitchell FREE, MUFON ERT). She is presently working on the “Marden-Barton Survey of Religious Belief and Extraterrestrial Life,” which is available on her website.

    She has appeared as an on-camera commentator on fifty-five television and video productions. Additionally, she has spoken on innumerable radio shows and podcasts and has lectured across the United States and to audiences in foreign countries. She has authored and coauthored numerous books and articles in UFO magazines and journals. Two of her books are available in foreign languages. She is the recipient of two major awards (MUFON and the International UFO Congress), for her years of dedicated work.

    Her books also include, The Alien Abduction Files, Forbidden Knowledge, Extraterrestrial Contact, Science Was Wrong, Fact, Fiction and Flying Saucers, True Stories of Alien Abduction, Making Contact and more. Some of her co-writers include Denise Stoner and Stanton Friedman.

    Preston Dennett began investigating UFOs and the paranormal in 1986 when he discovered that his family, friends and co-workers were having dramatic unexplained encounters. Since then, he has interviewed hundreds of witnesses and investigated a wide variety of paranormal phenomena. He is a field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a ghost hunter, a paranormal researcher, and the author of 30 books and more than 100 articles on UFOs and the paranormal. Several of his books have been Amazon UFO bestsellers. His articles have appeared in numerous magazines including Fate, Atlantis Rising, MUFON UFO Journal, Nexus, Paranormal Magazine, UFO Magazine, Phenomena Magazine, Mysteries Magazine, Ufologist and others. His writing has been translated into several different languages including German, French, Portuguese, Russian, and Icelandic. He has appeared on numerous radio and television programs, including Midnight in the Desert with Art Bell, Coast-to-Coast and the History Channel’s Deep Sea UFOs and UFO Hunters and Ancient Aliens. Dave is the creator and host of Canada’s ‘Spaced Out Radio,’ running Monday through Friday nights at spacedoutradio.com. A former radio journalist, Dave graduated with a diploma in Broadcast Communications from one of Canada’s top Broadcasting Schools, BCIT, in 1998.

    Dave then spent nearly 10 years in radio, mostly working in sports, before leaving the field to pursue other interests. Dave’s personal quest into the unknown started in December of 2011, when he had contact from what he calls The Angel of Death, that he saw in his mother’s eyes, which led to his first channeling experience. After this incident, Dave’s personal experiences started becoming more frequent. Paranormal experiences. Premonitions started coming true. A Bigfoot sighting with two of the creatures within 100 feet of him. UFOs started appearing anytime he wanted, even though Dave had no idea what “summoning” was. Personal sightings of five extraterrestrial species, one who he’s nicknamed ‘Carl’.
