  • They Gave Up On My Child: When The School System Refuses To Support Autism with Vickie Chartrand
    Apr 9 2026

This episode holds an extremely important message from Vickie Chartrand, who has been advocating and fighting for her autistic son's basic rights since he started school. The unfortunate reality of too many autism parents.

Imagine! A parent who works with 8 therapists for her son to support the school in implementing his 27-pages long IEP and being told: "As a parent, you need to do more!"

Now she is faced with the harsh reality that her son, who is at a modified Grade 3 level of learning, is being pushed into a regular High School class with not assistance. The principal's take on this situation? "He'll just have to survive".

Words of "reassurance" from a school who is actively advertising on radio and tv that they pride themselves in their safe and inclusive programs.

Unscripted and completely free-form conversation, Vickie gives a voice to all parents. From having to start from scratch every year, to being told her son will not survive high school, where are parents suppose to turn to to make sure their child will be SAFE to learn?

Vickie's message to other autism parents is clear: "Keep being LOUD for your child".

  • The Invisible Autism Parent Burnout with Danielle C Baker
    Apr 7 2026

This conversation needs to happen to address the reality that Autism Parent Burnout is not comparable to any other form of burnout. Dealing with extreme chronic stress, social isolation, and guilt, autism parents are truly underserved for support and resources.

In this episode, Danielle identifies the most common signs that an autism parent is facing this form of burnout, the main causes for Autism Parent Burnout, and how families, friends, and the community can truly help.

Danielle is a strong advocate for raising awareness on the importance of having properly trained professionals and individuals to help autism families. Without proper training, the people that come in to help the families become another problem.

  • Transforming Trauma: Starting From Where You Are To Where You Want To Be with Dr. Hector Rodriguez
    Feb 19 2026

What if your parenting triggers aren’t about your child… but about your past?

In this powerful conversation, I sit down with Dr. Hector to uncover the hidden patterns of trauma that quietly shape how we show up as parents. We explore how unresolved experiences can surface as overprotection, heightened anxiety, and fear-based decision making , often without us even realizing it.

You’ll learn why allowing children to safely navigate stress, frustration, and natural consequences is essential for building resilience and how stepping back can actually be an act of love, not neglect.

We also talk openly about the guilt parents feel when they recognize they’ve been projecting their own fears and how to move through that guilt with awareness, compassion, and growth.

If you’ve ever wondered whether your reactions are truly about your child or about something deeper, this episode will bring clarity, reassurance, and practical insight.
