  • Wallop Rewind: WrestleMania 36 (Night 2)
    Apr 16 2026

Rylan, Vince, and Juss sit down to discuss Night 2 of WrestleMania 36. The event took place on April 5, 2020, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, continuing the two-night format with no fans in attendance due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The main event featured Drew McIntyre defeating Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship, marking his first world title win. Braun Strowman’s Universal Championship win from Night 1 made this one of the few WrestleManias where both top men’s titles changed hands.

Other title matches included Charlotte Flair defeating Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship and Bayley retaining the SmackDown Women’s Championship in a five-way elimination match against Sasha Banks, Lacey Evans, Naomi, and Tamina.

Edge defeated Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match, which was one of the longest matches of the event. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defeated John Cena in the Firefly Fun House Match, another cinematic-style match that focused heavily on storytelling and callbacks to Cena’s career.

Additional results included Aleister Black defeating Bobby Lashley and Otis defeating Dolph Ziggler.

Night 2 continued the unique, cinematic presentation style of WrestleMania 36 and closed the event with Drew McIntyre celebrating his championship win in an empty arena.
