The back and forth of two different relationships, the keeping of secrets between the cousins that we all know would and should have been discussed. The sex scene not detailed toned down, but then she notes the graphic language when Raven asked for details about what it. The ending straight up disappointing

So slow

This book was extremely slow and underwhelming. It had so much potential to be exciting and bold. Missed opportunities to capitalize on events and storylines which lead to greater outcomes and impactful moments. I hope the second book isn’t this dry.
