This audiobook contains 100 entertaining and culturally interesting Portuguese short stories for beginners and intermediate learning level.

Portuguese can be challenging for beginners, but not with this audiobook. All the Portuguese short stories in this audiobook are unique and hopefully entertaining in content, and new vocabulary is gradually added at a manageable pace so that you won't get overwhelmed. Toward the end of this book, you find the stories slightly more complex, but still comprehensible for beginners. This audiobook is about Portuguese as spoken in Europe, Africa, and Asia.

This Portuguese language audiobook offers you a wide range of culturally important information you can use when you travel to Portugal or study there, and frankly, this book is not only for Portuguese language learners but also for anyone interested in Portuguese culture in general.

I feel like short stories is not the right way to describe these stories--they're basically just paragraphs. So, 100 different paragraphs. I'm fine with these paragraphs since I have a few actual collection of short stories.

The book and audible audio needs some serious quality control. For the Kindle book, there are very noticeable punctuation mistakes that make it hard to hard to read. The audio book has no table of contents, so you have to scroll through an hour or so of audio to listen to the story you want. This is insane considering there's 100 paragraphs here!
In terms of stories, they don't really make sense, in that it's just strange things happening with no context, almost like sentences stringed together. Honestly, it feels like an AI wrote these stories.

As for the audio, it's fine. I enjoy listening to an European accent, which was the reason I got the book and audio. It's serving it's purpose for me-- getting use to hearing European Portuguese and practicing my listening skills. But man, it is in need of an editor.

Needs some serious quality control, both the book and audiobook

I feel cheated. Bad stories if you can call it that. three sentences can't make a short story.

terrible short stores. I feel cheated.

To learn a language you need to immerse yourself in it and listen to it fully without any translation in your native language. That’s what you get here. Straight up European Portuguese.

I’ve listened to these stories over and over hundreds of times now for the past year and it has improved my comprehension immensely. Great resource for someone serious about learning the language.
